To ensure the safety, accuracy, and timely delivery of your pet’s medications, Northland Animal Hospital has updated our prescription procedures.
Third-Party & Online Pharmacies
We do not send, approve, or communicate with third-party pharmacies (including online retailers) regarding prescriptions. This includes fax, phone, and electronic verification.
If you choose to use an outside pharmacy, we will gladly provide a written prescription for you. You may:
- Pick it up at our office, or
- Have it mailed to you via USPS.
Written prescriptions must be mailed by the pet owner to the pharmacy of their choosing. Prescriptions cannot be emailed, as this does not meet current legal and veterinary-standards requirements.
Where You Can Fill Prescriptions
You are welcome to fill your pet’s medications:
- Directly through our hospital
- Through our official online store (Vetcove), which ensures safe sourcing, manufacturer guarantees, and correct handling of all products
